The artist, Bob Gatewood, wrote the songs, sang lead vocal, played electric and acoustic guitars.

    He was called a local legend by the Plain Dealer

    After 25 years of being Put-in-Bay's most booked musician, Gatewood just had a day named after him by the mayor last year.

    Gatewood's last cd, recorded with the same personnel, brought home Best of the Year by the Scene Magazine.

    Some of his songs were included in a 4th of July celebration at a national monument (Put-in-Bay has one).

    Owns a couple island businesses that were spawned from the success of the homegrown music.


Recorded in Nashville with some of the best gear and the best players in the world.

    The talent involved in this recording has won collectively hundreds of gold and platinum awards.


    Tom Bukovac was producer, lead guitarist and writer on the album. As he was on the last Gatewood CD.

        He just won his second consecutive ACM Award.


    Joe Vitale played drums, produced, sang, arranged and wrote for this project.

        A hugely awarded drummer, Joe is a member of CSN and Joe Walsh. and has written lots of multi-million selling songs. He has played on a ton of classic rock mega ht-hits with the biggest artists.


    Sarah Buxton was singing and songwriting. She has penned some multi-million songs, most recently for Keith Urban.

    Mark Jordan on piano. He recorded with Van Morrison just to name one.

    David Santos on Bass. John Fogerty's bass player forever. Been in Billy Joel's Band. wow.

The music would fit a radio format of Adult Album Alternative.


    Lots of acoustic guitars but it really rocks.

    Made in Nashville but it's not Country. You can feel that Country is not a dirty word, though.

    Comfortable life themes but not predictable.

    No rap but there's some edginess.
